De cd en lp bevatten 'sa dash of Soul, a pinch of Gospel, a spoonful of Blues and a pint of good ol's Rock 'sN Roll's; oftewel klinkt het als een mix van Lightnin's Hopkins, The Rolling Stones, The Band en Pops Staples. Hakon Hoye is al sinds de jaren 90 actief in d Noorse blues-scene en heeft een zeer goede reputatie als live- en studio-gitarist.
