De Tama Starclassic Maple line-up bestaat uit erg veelzijdige en breed inzetbare drums - daar is deze ketelset geen uitzondering op! Deze Tama Starclassic MA42TZBNS is een vierdelige ketelset in een rock-configuratie, met een 22x16 inch kick, 10x7 en 12x8 inch racktoms en een 16x16 floortom. De ketelset is voorzien van een fraaie Flat Black finish en wat met name bijzonder is aan deze shellset is de gave zwart vernikkelde ketel-hardware in plaats van de standaard chroom afwerking. Dit geeft deze Starclassic écht iets unieks!Tama Starclassic Maple MA42TZBNS klank en eigenschappenQua klank is deze ketelset, zoals eerder benoemd, erg veelzijdig en allround inzetbaar. Dit komt met name door het gebruik van esdoornhout (maple) wat een erg herkenbaar en helder geluid geeft met veel projectie; je kan het min of meer zien als de de-facto drum sound. Voor de 7 mm dikke bassdrum zijn acht lagen esdoorn gebruikt en voor de 5 mm dikke tom en floortom zijn zes lagen
